I deliver in person and online/phone sessions.
At this moment, bodywork treatments are not available outside of the treatment room; whilst somatics and coaching sessions are available online and in treatment room.
Treatment room 1
St Joseph Hospice, on Mare Street. This is a large room, accessible by stairs and lift. Facilities included: Reception area, Cafeteria, Gender Neutral Public Toilet & Shower. Wheelchair accessible reception, corridors and lift but treatment room door not wide enough for wheelchair entry.
Couch and props
The massage table is 76.2cm wide and has additional arm extenders which can add 28cms in total to this, making it around 104cm wide. I have props available for ankle and knee support, as well as towels for shoulder supports. For massages, facing down, the couch has a face cradle or you can choose to lie with your head on the side on a pillow.
In winter I use an electric heated underlayer sheet for warmth. This can be adjusted or turned off.
Mobility support
I have a step available to assist in getting onto the massage couch - this has a platform size: L36xW44, a height of 25.5cm, with a handrail height: 90cm. Please let me know in advance if you require this!
I have a small wheely stool that I use for some clients who are able to stand from the wheelchair, to wheel them from the door and closer to the massage bed.
Unfortunately, at the moment I am unable to provide any other additional mobility support.
Accessibility Questionnaire
If you have the capacity, please complete the following questionnaire if we are do a session together:
My booking system includes a few pricing options.
If this is not affordable for you, concessionary rates, packages and other pricing arrangements are available if you are on lower resources.
Here is my proposed sliding scale for your booking reference:
High resources bracket (£70-£80)
You have plenty disposable income, can afford saving money and/or you have other financial/relational sources available to you (for example: owning property, rental/additional income, inheritance, good pension prospects, health/life insurance, benefitting from systemic privilege e.g. white, cis, able, coupled…)
Comfortable resources bracket (£50-£60)
You have some disposable income or other financial/relational resources available to you (for example: savings, someone who you can easily access for financial support for your wellbeing, inheritance/own property, no dependants, can re-divert spending towards treatment costs, benefitting from systemic privilege e.g. white, cis, able, coupled...)
Concessionary rates (£30-£40/£50 for 2 sessions package)
I have a limited number of concessionary seats per week, so I am able to give you the closest available date for the concessionary rate on contact.
The concessionary rate is based on trust and I will not ask for any proof, but please consider the sliding scale above regards your resources, as well as who I prioritise for concessionary rates below.
Who do I prioritise for concessionary rates?
Based on my current experience and capacity, I am able to offer concessionary rates based on the below:
Intersectionality (here is an animated 3 Minute Intersectionality 101 if you are not sure what that term means).
GSRD – Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversity (i.e. LGBTQIA and / or CNM / ENM).
Neuro-divergence
Chronic illness & disability- fatigue, long covid, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, hypermobility, IBS, burn out
Those who have experienced sexual violence
Working towards a decolonising practice of some kind: e.g. activists, abolition practitioners, sex workers and healers, disruptive creatives, community and co-operative housing…
What if I still do not know how much to pay?
When considering the price point, does it feel like it will leave you with a big financial strain? If so, it is probably best to go for a lower tiered pricing or consider free/community low cost somatic practices from organisation such as Healing Justice London and St Margaret House
Massage Treatments
Not all bodies are comfortable being uncovered, or receiving touch. Because of this, I also offer clothes-on bodywork (this can look differently from a client to the next depending on what feels safe and appropriate for them).
If massage is needed, another option is to keep certain parts of your body clothed, covered/or not receive treatment in specific areas.
All Treatments
I will check in with you on your comfort levels and general experience throughout the entire session, but if there are any particular boundaries that you need to set and voice prior to treatment, please let me know via email or during our initial consultation.
In our session we might be working with embodied sense, nervous system and emotions, neuroplasticity
COVID
Current legal requirements do not ask for lateral flow testing prior to, or masks during treatment. However, due to personal values and a duty of care, if I develop any symptoms prior to treatment, I will take a lateral flow test. I kindly ask you to do the same if you have symptoms, or inform me if you think you are at risk of developing symptoms, in order to maintain a safe treatment environment.
Depending on your needs, I can wear a mask during treatment and happy for you to choose whether you wear one or not. I will leave the window slightly open during treatment for air flow.
Please specify, prior to treatment, if you have a preference related to COVID management via email.
